The World Tri

The World Tri(athalon) follows Charles Whittmack (his wife and 2 year old son are along for the adventure) swim 275-miles down the River Thames in England and across the English Channel to France. From France, he'll be doing a 9000-mile bike ride across Europe and Asia. The triathlon finishes with a 950-mile run to the summit of Mount Everest. Crazy man!

The webpage has entertaining blogs and videos that are quite enjoyable. Even for those non-athletic like myself.

Music To My Ears

Have you ever wished that your life was like a musical? Or maybe that something spontaneously amazing occurred around you?

These commercials sure make me want that to happen to me...even if it is to market a product!

Sandy Art

Joe Mangrum makes sand art. Each day he finds a new concrete canvas and each day he cleans up afterwards. CNN's video story here.

I find it amazing how man-made items can be as gorgeous as nature. Beautiful.

"You just had to show off your yarn ball"

Quick news update: I just realized I made a mistake with the wrong Kung Fu Panda video. Here is the actual one I found interesting. No longer in fast forward!

I also have a favorite new website! Catalog Living follows the exciting (and fictional) lives of Elaine and Gary, a couple who enjoy living in those Pottery Barn catalogs.

Birds on the Wires

“Birds on the Wires”, a beautiful video created by Jarbas Agnelli of São Paulo was created after he saw a picture in a newspaper.

Clever ads are the best. The New England Aquarium has a new ad campaign devoted to their penguins that is definitely worth sharing.

Do they still make Polaroid cameras?

My favorite type of museum is the kind where you're wandering around through the Baroque period, on to Victorian, and then you spot the elusive photography wing and wished it was larger.

Yesterday, while eating a delicious meal of chicken and broccoli and white rice with a fork, someone mentioned the extra scene found on the DVD of Kung Fu Panda. Of course, we had to pop it in. This is amazing.

A Bucket of Popcorn and Entertainment

Forget the summer reading list, here's a handful of movies that we can't wait to see!

Based off of the book, Eat Pray Love is a movie focused on a woman's adventure in Italy, India and Indonesia...and that just seems fun!

Eat Pray Love Features: Julia Roberts, James Franco, Richard Jenkins, Viola Davis, Billy Crudup, and Javier Bardem

If you let the inner kid out as much as we do, then you may want to see this cute new Disney film featuring a Prince's adventure rather than a Princess'.

Tangled Features: Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, Donna Murphy, Ron Perlman, Brad Garrett and more!

If you are a Johnny Depp fan then you will have no problem convincing yourself to see this upcoming animation called Rango.

Rango Features: Johnny Depp, Timothy Olyphant, Ned Beatty, Abigail Breslin, Bill Nighy and Isla Fisher

Although this movie came out last year, it didn't gain a lot of the lime light. It looks interesting and wonderful (especially if you are into artistically filmed movies with slightly historical undertones)

The Concert Features: Aleksei Guskov, Dmitri Nazarov, Mélanie Laurent and Francios Berléand

Where this interesting plot came from, I have no idea. But it's so cool! In Inception, corporations utilize a man who can step into other's dreams to steal grand ideas from the company's rivals.

Inception Features: Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe

Action and Angelina just seem to be going together more and more. Why not see her as a possible Russian spy?

Salt Features: Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Daniel Olbrychski and more!

Adding some humor to superheros...why not?!

The Green Hornet Features: Cameron Diaz, Seth Rogen, Christoph Waltz, Edward Furlong, Jay Chou, Tom Wilkinson and many more!

And last on the list is a comedy entitled Gulliver's Travels.

Gulliver's Travels Features: Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Jack Black, T.J. Miller, Amanda Peet and more!

This Blog is Now Diamonds

All of us have been exposed to the glorious 6-packed model that has dawned Old Spice commercials, but besides thanking the company for some eye candy we have to applaud them for their innovative use of social media.

They created probably the most entertaining and viral commercials that has stuck with us and is now brought up in conversation today. However, they are taking it a step further and injecting themselves into our lives by replying to tweets with a video that is set up the same way as the commercials. Clever huh? It gets better.

So it is today that I present you with not only the commercials and a sample of the video response to tweets, but something that may make you the most popular, funniest and hottest person around...ok maybe just the popular part. Let's not kid ourselves.

But seriously, the Old Spice team has created a website where you can type in information for a voicemail which will be said by the Old Spice hunk so when someone misses a call they can enjoy the sound of his voice and laugh hysterically when they hear your full message. BRILLIANT BRANDING!

Your thanks yous and praise will be accepted at anytime.

The Ellen Degeneres Show

Since there haven't been any new and hilarious viral videos or sites worth sharing, I thought why not divulge another celebrity that Catherine and I can't get enough of. After watching her shows every day at 4pm, we've decided to add the goal of being in the audience of her show to our bucket list.

Here are some clips of the Ellen Degeneres Show that we enjoy immensely.

How to be a Michael Bublé fan....Obsessed

This weekend my boyfriend gained tons of brownie points by bringing me to a Michael Bublé concert. Now you may be thinking..."Man she's got good taste in music"...and if you are, then you are correct and pretty classy! So after a wonderful two or more hours of listening to a crooner that makes a woman's heart beat a little bit faster than usual..well, I just can't get enough. Here's to sharing videos!

Step One to being a MB fan...say his name right:

Step Two to being a MB fan...listen to his music and sing along in the car then go to a concert and still want to hear more so you end up going to YouTube to relive and reminisce about the moments you had a few hours earlier (or that could just be me):

If you just watched that video then congrats! You are on your way to being a MB fan.

p.s. the opening band for his concert in Charlotte was an acapella group called Naturally 7. I suggest you check them out cause they are a talented bunch...air instruments and all
